Do you need some laughs on April 15th? The College’s Faculty Association brings comedy to Centinel Hill Hall auditorium on Thursday, April 15th from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The four-year old Association, founded by Derek Maxfield, a former politics and government professor at Capital, has raised funds for student awards and books stipends through annual spring fundraisers since 2006.
The headliner for a night of comedy is the up and coming Dave Reilly, a nationally renowned comedian who has appeared on MTV and Fox. Reilly will be joined by Joey Scarpelli as “Father Guido”.
The evening will include a silent auction, food, drinks and music. Tickets ($20) are on sale now and may be purchased at the door. For tickets and information contact Amy Meisterling at 860-906-5185 or Association President Miah LaPierre-Dreger 860-906-5176. Net proceeds will benefit the Faculty Association Fund of the Capital Community College Foundation. Make checks payable to CCC Foundation. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
