Video: Faculty, Students On Nursing Program At Capital

Capital Community College’s Associate Degree in Nursing program, the largest degree-granting RN program in the state, may not need a recruitment video.   Staffing shortages and the rewards and challenges of a nursing career keep enrollments high at Capital and other Connecticut community colleges where the rigorous two-year program is offered.

This video shares the insights of students and faculty in nursing studies, a two-year, four semester program which requires 68 credits.   It provides a firsthand look at the value of a nursing education from the perspective of faculty and students.

The video is the work of  Capital’s Academic Media Technology department. It was produced by Jennifer Thomassen and narrated by the Nursing Program’s Joan Egbertson.
