Capital Community College’s 7th Changing Lives Gala, an annual charity event celebrating student and alumni success stories, will be held on Thursday, November 3rd from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the campus at Centinel Hill Hall.
The Gala has been a signature event for the College and its nonprofit Foundation since the move to downtown in 2002.
The student and alumni success stories shared at the gala convey the importance of raising new dollars for scholarships, enhancing programs and educational services and inspiring potential students from under-represented groups to pursue their dreams of higher education. In 2010-2011 proceeds from the Gala and other contributions were used to provide more than $100,000 in scholarships to Capital students.
