Capital Goes To The Latino Expo

Capital’s staff and students provided information on academic, continuing education and early college programs  as the 14th Latino Expo returned to the Connecticut Convention Center on March 8th and 9th.

The Expo, a free-admission festival of Hispanic culture, business and entertainment, drew thousands of attendees to dozens of demonstrations and booths involving employers and businesses, higher education, service organizations and agencies.  Coordinating the activities at the Expo were the Welcome Center’s Assistant Director  Jeannette Rivera and Marisol Malave of the Dean of Administration’s office – advisors to the Latin American Student Association (LASA).
